I am working on Tacho Meter since last 1 month but not able finish it yet . I had gone through all previous posts on this topic & got some general idea about it but not sure how to implement in code.
I am using 1/T method , frequency is connected to INT1 pin. I am able to display Pulse widh in microsec on 7 seg display. I have some puzzels
about this..
a)How to take avarage of 16 readings to avoide variations in readings
b)How to manage (FIFO??) memory for stoaring these readings.
c)Is there any special method for adding (each 16 bit) 16 readings & Dividing sum by 16.


Can anyone provide me such rpm / avaraging asm codes , it would be great help to me .
