Oh, by the way, I tried to utilize the sentinel/semaphore system and found that the complexity of managing a DPM that way is not justified for simple uC to uC communications. This, of course, is an opinion, just be aware that the scheme I described in the previous posting is simple, and a true DPM scheme of anyone to anywhere in most cases takes more effort than it is worth.
