Bravo Z-80! That was my favorite uP. TRS-80: I worked at Tandy Electronic Design for awhile. I met the original designer of the TRS-80 (Tandy bought the basic design and crew from National Semi) during my first interview with them; he laughingly said, "I designed the 'Trash 80'". They offered me $14K a year and I told them that the NAVY even pays more than that. 6 years later they offered me $52K and I worked for them a couple of years before going off to grad school. Do you remember the THOR project? I avoided that turkey but knew all the dirt on it. :) aka J |
