I am very new to the world of the 8032. I built a simple circuit in which the 8032 sends information to the 16X2 LCD on P1. No characters appear on the LCD and after 2 weeks of troubleshooting frustration, I ve come to the conclusion that I've been stumped thuroghly by this project. Does anyone have a simple .asm file that outputs information to a 16x2 LCD from an 8032 or 8031 that I can use to find out if my software or my hardware is the problem. My circuit consists of an 8032, AMD 1 Meg Flash, 573 latch and a 16x2 LCD.

I welome any helpful replies.
