#58138 - RE: how to reduce data memory usage Responding to: ???'s previous message |
One good way to learn what is in a map file is to make some very simple programs with just a few lines of code and one or two variables. THe compile and link. This will give a very short map file that is easier to understand. You can compare the map file contents to the addresses you see for your short program in debugger or simulator. This way the map file contents becomes to make sense.
