I've tried many ways to do the comparision, but the problem seams to be when i read the code memory the 2nd time, it simply stops controling the light.

like this:

loop:
dptr = point to MSB level table
movc a, @a+dptr
subb a, TH0
jnc DontTrigger

trigger here

DontTrigger:
inc level
sjmp loop

if I do like this it will work and do a ramp on the light, but if I just add this under jnc DontTrigger:

set dptr to LSB level table
movc a, @a+dptr

and dont even do the compare, it stops working already.

why??? theres any particularity of the MOVC that I dont know?
