#58861 - RE: Reset Generators ---Microchip or Zetex? Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Bruce:
Where are you located? If in the USA there is DigiKey to consider. Economical mail order of parts for reset generators are available via web order, mail order or even call in. They handle the Maxim, Texas Instruments, Zetex, and National Semiconductor lines of reset generator devices. Go to http://www.digikey.com. For the AM80C2051 you will need a part with a high true reset output. If you are operating the microcontroller over a range of voltages suitable to the spec of the '2051 you may want to consider the TI part number TPS3825-33DBVT. This part is in a small SOT-23 package with a threshold trigger level of 2.93 volts and is available from DigiKey for $1.44 US in single quantities (in reel quantities of 1000 the price is more like $0.63 US). Here is a link to the TPS3825 Data Sheet Hope you find this information useful. Michael Karas |
