#5890 - RE: cruise controll possible? |
hi,
i thought in my engineering head that ' was to show missing letters i.e. an abbreviation. so rev's is surely short for revolutions. anyway yes u can make a cruise control , i guess with my limited knowledge of the 8051 you could use the timers and count pulses from the ignition to ascertain rev's (or revs). I always thought such a closed loop would be damn useful, how many times do you spend tweaking the throttle every time you go up and down a hill. the throttle could be used to set engine rev's absolute, not just adjust the carburettor. cheers bill |
