Hi all.. :D well.. I understand how to configure the serial port to recieve data so I can print it using the 8052 to a lx-810 matrix printer.. (mode 2, and waiting for data in sbuf) but how do I print data stored in the 8052 memory? I mean.. I have the documentation for this printer.. I know the ESC codes.. but can anyone just tell me the ASM coding for sending the data I want through the 3 ports (DATA, CONTROL, STATUS) to the parallel port? I already made the cables and stuff.. I know the printer ESC codes.. but there is no code that actually says START PRINTING.. Do I just send the data from port 0 to the parallel data pins? what about the strobe??? can someone help me? please? gotta finish this soon... please help. |
