#59275 - RE: Reading Port Issue Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Michael -
With respect, I don't think its debounce. It stays in that loop forever, and never breaks out. It goes to the beginning routine, decides on a mode, runs the first few lines of the mode then calls a routine to make sure it hasn't had a switch change, and thinking that it has it starts over. It never settles into the routine which I would expect after the debounce, not to mention that it is showing a 1 on a bit that should have been masked off... if mode 2 is 11111100, I initially mask off to 00001100 fine.. it gets to the mode 2 routine, re-reads the dip switches, masks off the upper 4, and ends up with 00011110 which makes no sense at all... It seems like such a simple set of instructions that I can't figure out where its going bad.. |
