Is an ADC the only way to do the ranging?
ADC provider analog linear data and not the transitions or ON/OFF . Say you have 0-----1meter distance the ADC will provide you 0-----255 values if it is 8bit. You can also use Voltage to Frequency converters if you dontlike ADC :) |
