A bridge (or differential) drive just puts the "normal" signal on one pin (probably +S) and exactly the same thing but with opposite polarity onto the other pin (probably the -S). So you actually just need to choose one or the other - no conversion necessary! Not much sure, but I remember I have read some where that if on a BTL output (Bridge Tied Load) the load is connected to ground from one of the (+ve or -ve) outputs, it may burn the output stage of the amplifier. Does any one have accurate information? |
