the AD7893 is a serial a/d converter. How is it connected to your 8051?

In your routine in_data I see a reference to "ri" and "sbuf". What are these?

Why do you push your ACC to the stack before calling subroutines? You don't seem to use the ACC in the remainder of the loop, so why waste your stack?

Some comments in the code could make it more readable. ANd maybe even point out why it's not working...
