I think I am confused.
If EA pin is tied to ground then your code has to be in external ROM. And if all three Lock bits are locked then external execution is disabled. ( I am referring to P89c51RD2. What is the exact derivative you are using ?) Thus what use is it to lock / unlock the 89c51 ? For all that matters a 80c31 should run happily. No ? Maybe I am missing something... Raghu |
