In assembly it is very difficult to get a better resolution than 0.5°C, because of math ops. I have included a complete demo for 1 or more DS1820 (over 2 wires) in my c compiler (www.wickenhaeuser.de). For 100% assembly: simply use the LST-File... The demo shows how to get the maximum resolution from the DS1820.
PS.: Another very interesting new temperature sensor is the TMP05 from ANALOG DEVICES. It has a very good resolution too, but is much smaller than the DS1820. 8051-code is included in the data sheet... |
