#60052 - RE: P89LPC932 and LCD Display Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Brian it worked!
I changed the address to display information on the second half. For this LCD the 9th character is addressed at location 40 as if it was the second line on a two line LCD. Now the problem I have is resolution. I have connected a 10K pot to the VSS, Vcc and VEE pins. I have this function to check the busyflag (DB7). In this fucntion the port DB0-DB7 has to go high (input) and when this occurs the resolution on the screen reduces and info can hardly be seen. this is happening every .4 seconds which means that the resolution goes high and low every .4 sec. Do you have any ideas to overcome this? Since this is a 5 volt LCD and I am using the LPC932 I used comparators for each input (DB0-DB7) from the micro in order to bring the voltage up to 5 volts. Do you know any LCD that will work with a LPC932? |
