#60086 - RE: MCS-251 and 8 Pin 8051. Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Dear Arif,
I have been seeing your questions - first you wanted to know about "any other microcontrollers" then you now want to know about 16 bit controllers. Nothing wrong in asking. But I would like to give a friendly caution : Till you master a particular derivative, STICK with it and get its innards by heart. The habit of data sheet browsing can get quite addictive - but will not be productive at the end of the day. So start with a specific MCU, use its various capabilities to the hilt and one fine day you will find or need some more functionality - then its time to look for more. As a suggestion the 89c51 or P89c51rd2 with the PCA are good ones to start. And if you want a kit then the Cygnal entry level kits are lovely ones. That way the Cygnal range can be quite a challenge to begin with - analog sections, cross bar, so on and so forth. Raghu |
