#60457 - RS232 and RS485 cards |
I have A MCU51 card which outputs RS232 signal . I have designed my own RS485 card by first convert RS232 to TTL and then to RS485 by using MAX485 chip .
I Question ,will I need any line termination resistance for MAX232 chip on my RS485 card . The two chips MAX232 ( one that is in the MCU51 card ) and the one that I have used are in very closely connected , Any line terminations needed ? can I directly interface two in such manner on one card 8051(TTL)<-->MAX232<-..RS232..->MAX232<-->RS485 TIA Rich |
