My name is María and I am from Argentina. I need to measure the frequency of a square signal that comes from a nearby logic chip with the minimum error. I´m using the AT89S8252. The frequency ranges from 1 Hz to 1Mh. As you can see I have to cover a very wide range of frequencies and I´m afraid that if a measure correctly the low frequency, I would have problems (significant error)with the high ones and viceversa. Should I use an appropiate software for the low ones and a another for the high ones?
I need the software to do this in an assembly language cause I´m really out of time and I have to finish this proyect urgently!!!!!!!! I would really appreciate if you could tell me where to find the software to solve this this problem. HELP!!! Please.
