#61863 - RE: A/D and DAC on ADuC812 Responding to: ???'s previous message |
On the ADuC812, if you happen to be using the on-chip VREF, which is 2.5 volts the A/D converter will produce output conversion codes from 0 to Full Scale from an input voltage range from 0 to VREF.
The D/A converter on the other hand will produce an output voltage range of 0 to 5 volts if you have VDD set at 5 VDC and are operating the D/A in Voltage Range_1. This could account for the 2::1 difference you are seeing. This information I determined by reading the data sheet for the part. Michael Karas |
