Is your software using delay loops between writes to the LCD? Or is the software reading the "LCD busy flag" to determine when the LCD is ready to accept more stuff (the preferred, clock independent method)? If you're using same software and delay loops but faster clock then you're probably sending new commands/data to the LCD before it finishes processing previous stuff. There is a tutorial here that demos using the busy flag. |
