#6289 - RE: Caller Id on 8052 |
The best way of dealing with caller id is to use the old ic's such as the Mortorola MC14544P. It will output the data via RS232 which you can feed into a 8052 and maniuplate however you see fit. I have done some products for caller id a few years back which are still kicking. I though the interest would have been greater in the industry but it turned out to be a very narrow market that only specialized products would be successful.
I don't know of any sites other than "http://members.aol.com/HawaiianComputer" that deal in caller ID. There were some but they bit the dust as the years flew by. Good luck, Charles Bannister |
