In some ways I hate to admit it but this seems like a a stroll down memory lane. I was building the electronics portion of cosmic ray experiments with vacuum tubes (thermoionic valves) and slide rule at the Fermi Institute of the University of Chicago before there were transistors or calculators. We had lots of fun working without luxuries like air conditioning and .....
Thank goodness for all the progress in our electronics field and thank goodness for all the mind sharing that we have here on the forum. I did about 80% on the quiz. Probably could have done better but things in my brain have been replaced with more modern terms. TomB |
