i'm using AT89C51 which serial port is connected to fsk clip detector device. The clip IC has capabily to detect bell ring...

... i have disabled the EA and serial interrupt enable flag (and all other interrupt flags) to detect the bell ring. But the software still jump to serial interrupt service adrress. This really confuse me. I haven't tried to inspect the output of serial CLIP with osciloscope yet..

Does anyone have explanation for this?
