You write a byte to SBUF, the byte is transmitted serially - where's the problem?
The UART doesn't care whether you consider the byte to be a character code, or a pure binary number - it just sends the bits! If you need a 'C' function, use putchar Just check that it's not doing any CR-to-CRLF conversion, or X-ON/X-OFF flow control. The source is supplied - see the Manual for the description. |
