Just because you have not observed any symptoms does not mean that you have no problems. Like I said before, It could just be that your code was always dodgy, and you just happened to get away with it before; you were just lucky. Ignoring compiler warnings like these is exactly the kind of thing that can give you problems like this. You are asking for trouble! The compiler wouldn't give the warning if there was nothing to worry about! |
