hi,
commonly is referred to as RAM, where, correctly, it should be referred to a "direct RAM" and "indirect RAM". XRAM is also indirect RAM because it is addressed via either @DPTR or @Ri. I would use term "native" or "pure" for these 256 bytes of RAM. BTW, I seen some vendors use term "eXtra RAM" as description of XRAM abbreviation. Regards, Oleg |
