As for detecting coins - it is both mechanical and electronic normally. They might do things differently in Mumbai.

This forum is normally frequented by people that have more cerebral things to do rather than ripping off phone boxes, pirating CD's or terrorist activities.


Oh no Professor ..you got me completely wrong here.The problem is that i always run out of coins while chatting with my girlfriend over phone.And last night we had to prematurely end our conversation because of the same reason.No matter how many coins I carry I always fall short of them.So it just occured to me if there's any way I can chat endlessly with her over the phone.

I am not the kind of guy who would rip off pay-phones or put dog shit in the coin return slot to retrive coins.
I just want to talk with her for as long as i want to.And i can't afford a phone...neither could she.
