The automotive industry uses everything from 4 to 64 bitters depending on the function. e.g. the rear lighting control is slow and simple, the fuel injection control is fast and complex.
The only characteristic all the processors share is extreme temperature range. To the best of my knowledge, the one thing you will not find in the automotive is multitasking processors. Erik |
