Hmm... these are obviously intended for a specific application, and can't just be taken verbatim as a general set of guidelines; eg, "inputs shall withstand excess voltages up to +80 V for 5 minutes without damage" Why 80? Why not 50, or 100? Why no reverse-polarity protection? No doubt it made sense to the author's specific criteria, but these can't just be taken verbatim without some serious thought to your own requirements. |
