Rather than creating a new off-topic thread, I thought I would add some new (?) information to a relevant old thread for context.

I happen to be doing some Xilinx MicroBlaze (FPGA soft-processor core) development for a client and since that type of thing is my focus du jour, I ran across CoWare's LISATek product for embedded processor design and software development tool generation, and thought that those originating and contributing to this thread might find it interesting.
