Thanks so much for that link. It has led me, (through browsing), to add at least 4 new web sites to my Favorites, and it's going to take me weeks to have a look around at what I just found.

By the way, I followed the link to repairing remote-control buttons, which took me to an e-magazine that has a back issue with a switching 5V regulator that will probably be extremely informative for individuals at this site...
