When using a rechargeable battery the battery should be connected to Vcc2 not Vcc1. Vcc1 is connected to the primary power supply. If you are using a rechargeable battery as the only power source you will have problems. With time the voltage of the battery will fall below the required min of the DS1302. Best of luck |
