#65704 - ever heard of EMC ? Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Hello,
Maybe, you have soms EMC troubles. For my own industrial designs, I use lots of small capactors (100nF), very close to the chips, an some bigger (10-100µF), everywhere on the board. I also use ferrite beads (pig-noses, like we call them) on the power lines and on each I/O line. Use a star topology for your groud line. ohetwise, you are draggoing the noise trough each component. You can also add a RC network before the supply of the controller. R = 10-100ohms C= +-100µF A common mode choke on the power lines can also be helpful. And last but not least... put yout stuff in a metal box. Koen |
