#65803 - RE: ADuC824/834 Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Hallo Ivan,
I have had a short look into both datasheets, and if I'm not wrong, AD7730 has better noise performance than ADuc824. If you take figure 22 and table IX of datasheet of ADuc824 you will find that output noise is 0.65µVeff, with update rate of about 20Hz and input voltage range of +-80mV. Corner frequency of frequency response is f(-3db) = 4Hz. If you now have a look at table I of datasheet of AD7730, you will find, that for f(-3dB) = 4Hz and input voltage range of +-80mV, output noise voltage is only 155nVeff. So, for me this seems to demonstrate an advantage of AD7730 over ADuC824 by a factor of 4.2, referring to noise performance. Kai |
