#65899 - RE: 8051 SIMULATORS FOR MAC??? Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Simon,
Well, I doubt the following is what you want, but if you run Linux on you Mac, you can use asem-51 and/or sdcc as assembler/compiler and sdcc comes with a simulator. Besides that there are more linux tools that should be usable on a Mac, provided you install linux. Check sourceforge.net and freshmeat.net The latest Mac OS (OS-X) has a *nix under the hood (as I have been told) so it is maybe possible to recompile some of the stuff for OSX, if not port it... I know of no other tools. But I do not know everything about Mac and/or 805x, so don't despair yet... I don't know if there is a simulator written in Java, but if there is, then it should be useable on a Mac. regards Patrick |
