I would personally recomend using a hardware RTC rather than a software RTC. A software RTC is not so accurate and your controller will waste considerable time tracking time and you know consequenses of power failure or turning off the device. You can order upto samples of BQ1385 hardware RTC for free from Texas Instruments. www.ti.com |
