Ron:
Yes i have talked to the author he dosnt want to be bothered with the problem. I am not trying to steal his code iam just trying to learn by example. ......... Also for your information the code was released to public domain. Would it have been so difficult to say that up front - or at least in a timely manner after the question was asked?, if you had, I am sure an answer would have been forthcoming Many here make their living producing software and their livelyhood is dependent on their code not being stolen. Thus when any indication of the possibility of re-engineering/bootleg code comes up these questions get asked. The fact that these people take time away from revenue producing activities is unfortunately appreciated only rarely. Your reaction and the fact you just say "public domain" and provide no link makes me believe that you are not telling the truth and this is, indeed, bootleg code. You all must be a bunch of white people who belong to the baptist churches. That is for another forum, this forum is about the '51 and its derivatives Erik The rest of you: Another sad case of stamping the little feet when things does not go babys way. Erik |
