OK still some hours to go before the weekend closes. One of the topics that constantly crops up among WIN_XP users is that on the status of the Component Services. which service should be in what status - Automatic/Manual/Disabled. Many can be safely disabled resulting in some more speed of XP. Though a basic defenition of each service is attempted by a brief description on the page where they are listed, many are quite cryptic.
