Local Lattice distributor also provides the software development tools (with programmer, sample ICs, and little ISP board) for free as long as you have a good cause in using their products.
Xilinx and Altera also have similar offers. The catch is, if you work for a large company, you can get almost everything free from those distributors. They would beg you to design in with their chips. Otherwise you chip in a few hundred bucks for it. Regards, Oliver |
