#67183 - pulse counter |
I read a few posts where pulse counter circuits have been discussed but I have a few doubts
I am using a 89c2051 for the counter circuit How do I count number of not pulse width in say 10ms The posts I read came up with suggestion of reading pulse width using INTX. I am using p1.2 for pulse counting every time the pin goes low it increments a counter register r6(LSB) and R7 (msb) of counter ad then transmit the value to PC. Is that a bad idea? |
