Guys Guys Guys...thank you so much for ALL the replies...I fixed the ISR early today morning and got my UART0 to work...I just started using the 8051 and this post is a GREAT welcome to the family! Everyone is eager to help.
As you all know, I had to learn the hard way that there are baud rates to set (I am talking to an iPod-the project is to integrate it into the new VW), pins to pull-up, set as output, REN bits to set etc....bottom line, thanks again...this should bring this thread to a CLOSE and hopefully more challenging questions in the future.
