#67346 - NOT an 8051! Responding to: ???'s previous message |

you could just write a header which defines the registers and the #include it in your c program and use any compiler such as sdcc.
This is the idea behind headers, you don't then need a seperate compiler for each variant produced. This only works for processors from the same family - the 80C196 is not an 8051-derivative! Therefore this question is off-topic - you need to find an 80C196 forum instead. Try http://developer.intel.com for a start. |
