LPC764 has on board IIC interface. And your LK162-12 must also have it since you have said it will be interfaced via IIC. So what exactly is the issue ? If you are implementing IIC for the first time and require details on the protocol, the web has plenty of them. Or better download the pdf " The I2C - Bus Specification " from the Philips website.
