I am trying to receive data from an instrument. The protocols as described in the manual of the instrument says that it is : 2400 / E / 7 / 1.

This data being transmmited continuously is a 40 byte ASCII Character data. The strating string of this data is "(" followed by 40 byte data and concluded by ")".

Using 11.0592 Mhz Crystal when I try to receive this data using Mode 1 UART and using Timer1 to generate the Baud rate, I am sometimes able to receive the data successfully where as sometimes i am not able to receive it at all.

I am not able to solve the problem nor have clue to this !
