I tried this command :
mov a,#20h
subb a,#45h
and it hangs...

when i tried on 8052 sim,
it works...and there is a carry
and an overflow...

so, what's the problem ?
does Atmel89c51 can not deal with overflow ?

i need to get the DD result, carry and
an overflow...
