Ahmed DS1307 uses 2 wire bus also more popurly know as I2C or IIC [ Inter Integrated Communication Bus ].If you are having any trouble with interfacing because of this interface than first learn I2c interface properly there are several datasheets on I2C from philips and a lot of info is available on net.
