Hallo Patrick,

had some similar problems with frequency multiplicator. At 4Mhz from 10 attempts were 8 abortive. At 6 Mhz and 10 Mhz seems all OK. Also some
additional capacity at X-tal caps (scope probe) had some negative impact on frequency switching. Is it the multiplicator really so phase sensitive? Will try to run it from external oscilator.
