Hi,
Can anyone tell me what type buffer that I need.I am connecting a smoke alarm into a micro processor.The processor is getting very hot.From the alarm , I have 2 resistors in series a 1k2 and a 10k and from the mid point this is connected into the 8051.When the reset on the alarm is pressed, it gives me the correct voltage but someone was saying to me that I need a buffer??Is this correct??
