The error in the 4-bit LCD tutorial has been fixed.



Please consider the following:

1. The site administrator is busy and has other tasks beyond running this website. He wishes 8052.com were his full-time job. This site would shine if he could dedicate 8-10 hours to it every day.

2. The site administrator didn't write the 4-bit tutorial.

3. Given that the site administrator didn't write the tutorial in question (nor the code contained therein), he didn't want to make the changes to the code in the tutorial until he had time to sit down and re-read and understand the code to make sure that the code was really broken and that the proposed solution was correct.

I'm sorry if you did not find my response time acceptable. If everyone that visits this site were to pay $1/month to subscribe and support this site then I'd be able to dedicate all my time to it and things like this would be fixed immediately. Since I suspect most people aren't willing to do so I'm afraid a "best effort" and "time available" basis will have to suffice.
